Living in a trash can, O.Ratz and his pal Dave D. Fly try to find warmth on a cold winter night. After several attempts fail - including being thrown out of a homeless shelter and crushed by a snowplow with a freshly warmed blanket attached to it, O.Ratz and Dave stumble upon an old space heater and plug it in. Unfortunately, newspapers too close to the heater cause a fire leading to a gas explosion, sailing them off into the sky to possibly an even colder destination.

Doc, a feline with musical talents, conducts an all-alley-cat symphony orchestra in a rendition of Giacomo Rossini's Cinderella overture. A mouse is peacefully sleeping on his matchbox bed inside the clock, underneath the swinging pendulum. As Doc is directing the orchestra, he leans over and playfully lowers the pendulum so that the mouse is caught and swings with its motion. The band plays on. The mouse, now angry, endeavors to out-scream the band, but he's muffled by Doc.

Recently dumped by his girlfirend for another man, working in a job he hates, things could be better for Peter. One night, while he is alone in his apartment, there is a knock on the door. His life will never be the same again.

An alcoholic ex-football player drinks his days away, having failed to come to terms with his sexuality and his real feelings for his football buddy who died after an ambiguous accident. His wife is crucified by her desperation to make him desire her: but he resists the affections of his wife. His reunion with his father—who is dying of cancer—jogs a host of memories and revelations for both father and son.

Rapido and Razmo, two humor-infested rodents, have found their paradise! They are squatting an old Cargo ship: on board are 5,000 tons of cheese.

Like lots of young ladies their age, Marci (Vanessa Lengies) and Summer (Caroline Elliott) have boys on their feverish brains. But the closer the girls get to their school's Spring Fling dance, the further they seem from finding dates. A desperate search for dance partners doesn't turn up any leads until the duo finds a magic ring. Aided by their newfound powers, they transform two pet rats into teen dreamboats -- with nightmarish results.
